About the Housing Alliance

The Oregon Housing Alliance was established in 2004 and is now home to over 100 member organizations, including:

  • Tenant organizing groups
  • Affordable housing developers and providers
  • Social service providers and shelter operators
  • Community Action Agencies
  • Public Housing Authorities
  • Housing industry businesses and professionals
  • City and County governments
  • Community-based nonprofits and advocacy groups

Our diverse membership is united by the belief that every Oregonian deserves a home that is affordable, stable, accessible and safe. We advocate for state-level policies and investments that advance a right to housing and an end to homelessness in Oregon. We develop our legislative priorities and organize our advocacy through three workgroups:

  • Homelessness and Tenant Protections
  • Land Use, Development and Preservation of Affordable Housing
  • Homeownership and Asset-Building
