Small Community Advocacy Grants Available

We are excited to announce availability of small community grants to elevate our voice and strengthen our housing advocacy in the state capitol. (Thanks to Meyer Memorial Trust for creating this opportunity). As you may know, the Housing Alliance is committed to securing more resources for housing that is affordable and to advocate for policy changes that will ensure all our community members have a safe, stable, affordable place to call home.

Our legislators must hear from all of us to make this happen. We need to ensure they understand that housing must be a priority if we are to meet our health, economic, environmental, and educational goals.

Over the past few months we have heard that you may be interested and ready to take the next step to join us in this work or continue to support our efforts. Please let us know if you are interested in these grants of $1,000 to $3,000 and how these funds will facilitate your engagement of staff, community members, or organizational leadership in housing advocacy efforts.

If you have questions or want to talk through a concept, please don’t hesitate to be in touch with Janet or me. We look forward to working together to ensure policy victories that make our communities stronger.
